How to use lemon juice to whiten sheets
Pre-treat stains
Before you put your bed sheets into the washing machine, check them for marks.
You can use lemon juice on the stained areas and let it do its magic for 10 to 15 minutes. The juice contains natural bleaching properties so will break down any stains.
The ingredient is also a lot softer than using a traditional cleaning product.

Prepare the laundry
Once, you have let it sit you can then place your bed sheets into the washing machine. Set the temperature that you normally would along with detergent and soap powder.
Add lemon juice
Next, instead of using fabric softener, add half to one cup of lemon juice into the washing machine when it is on the rinse cycle.
The natural acidity of the juice will help whiten the fabric.
Wash and Dry
Make sure to run the washing machine on a cycle that you normally use. After this, put the bed sheets into a dryer or hang them to dry.
Enjoy fresh, white bed sheets
Finally, once they have dried you will notice that the material will look noticeably brighter than before. This is due to the natural bleaching of the lemon juice.
