Kate Middleton and William to take on new roles predicts expert
In the latest post on Kate Middleton and Prince William’s Instagram account, the Duchess of Cambridge talks to other parents about the difficulties of homeschooling during the pandemic. In the video, she sits in a room that fans of the royal couple had not seen before until this month. New photographs can also be spotted behind her.
Kate sits on a pale blue-gray sofa with three white pillows covered in an orange and brown floral pattern.
Behind her there is a wooden desk with multiple framed photos of her and Prince William’s family.
There is a picture of Princess Charlotte’s christening in 2015, featuring the young princess’ great-grandmother.
The Queen sits at the centre of the photograph wearing a pink dress, with Kate to her left holding Princess Charlotte.

Prince William is also seen in the picture with Prince George in his arms, sitting to the Queen’s right.

Another photograph on the desk features George and Charlotte on the princess’ first day of school.
She is two years younger than her brother and started school in 2019.

The royal siblings are wearing the red and navy-blue uniform of Thomas’s Battersea, the private school located in west London.
Another photograph shows Prince Louis in a garden.
Louis is the third and youngest child of the Cambridges’, at only two years old.
On the desk beside the photographs is a large golden-yellow lamp, which is switched on, giving Kate’s room a warm ambience.
Also to be seen in the room is a large potted plant, which seems to be on the floor behind the sofa Kate is sitting on.
This plant is to the Duchess’ left, while another can be seen to her right.
The latter either hangs from the ceiling or is merely the leaves of a bigger plant or indoor tree.
Olive-green, the leaves rest against a crisp white wall with delicate markings on it.
Kate and William, along with their three children, are currently living in Amner Hall, their Norfolk home.
The family moved there shortly before the third national lockdown and have since been homeschooling their two eldest children due to school closures.
In the latest video, which was released two days ago on the Kensington Royals Instagram account, Kate speaks to other parents about their mental health and wellbeing during this difficult time.
The Duchess of Cambridge mentions that parents have had to take on multiple additional roles during lockdown to take care of their children, including that of a teacher and a hairdresser.
