Queen Maxima of the Netherlands is married to King Willem-Alexander, and is the first Latin American-born queen consort in the history of the Netherlands. The couple live in the luxurious Huis Ten Bosch - the house in the woods - in the outskirts of The Hague.
Huis Ten Bosch is a 17th-century manor located in the outskirts of The Hague.
It is one of the three official residences of the Dutch monarch. The two others are the Noordeinde Palace in The Hague and the Royal Palace in Amsterdam.
The Huis Ten Bosch is around thirty thousand square feet and is surrounded by woodland.
The palace was the former home of Queen Beatrix from 1981 to 2014, until her abdication.

In 2019 the palace had to be completely refurbished due to several structural issues.
The renovations took five years and cost a staggering €63 million (£54.96 million).
Huis Ten Bosch has been the official residence of the living monarch of the Netherlands since 1981.
In photos showing Queen Maxima and King Willem-Alexander working from home, the stunning interior of their home can be seen.
Amid the coronavirus outbreak, both Maxima and Willem-Alexander have been conducting video chats and phone calls from their home office to continue working.
One photo, which appears to be of a more relaxed area of their home office, is decorated with opulent royal blue and gold.
The carpet, sofa, stools and one bookshelf wall are all coloured royal blue.
The shelves of the bookshelf are a golden yellow colour, complimenting gold cushions and a modern-square gold chandelier.

Behind her are backlit bookshelves featuring framed pictures and books, and exotic wallpaper featuring palm trees and parrots.
In King Willem-Alexander's office, the decor is much lighter, with white walls and three double glass doors opening onto gardens.
The carpet is striped, and there are complimenting dark wood desk and bookshelves.
The office also features a glass table with three leather chairs, and a table holding photos of the royal family.
Queen Maxima and King Willem-Alexander live in the stunning palace with their three daughters, Catharina-Amalia, Princess of Orange, Princess Alexia and Princess Ariane.
Maxima and Willem-Alexander wed on February 2, 2002 at the Nieuwe Kerk - a 15th century church in Amsterdam.
The royal family first lived in Villa Eikenhorst on the De Horsten estate in Wassenaar.
After the move of Princess Beatrix to the castle of Drakensteyn and the intensive five year renovation, Willem-Alexander and his family moved to the palace of Huis ten Bosch in The Hague in 2019.
Queen Beatrix stepped down from the throne 33 years after her coronation, having carried out 54 state visits abroad and living through five prime ministers.
Upon signing the abdication document on April 30, 2013, Beatrix once more became a princess and her eldest son became king.
Abdication is traditional among Dutch monarchs, however it is thought Beatrix waited so long to abdicate to give Willem-Alexander more time with his wife and children before the responsibility of being king.
