Baby names: Muhammed tops boys names while Meghan rises for girls thanks to Harry’s bride
BABY NAMES always show interesting things about society. These are the most popular and most unique boy and girl names so far in 2018.

Baby names are one of the biggest considerations for parents to be.
Now there is an insight in what is inspiring British parents currently.
The most common boy baby names include some royal inspiration with George, fourth, and Harry in fifth.
However, at first place was Muhammed.
In second was Oliver and Noah was third.

Olivia remained the most popular little girls name claiming the top sport again.
Next up was Sophia, Amelia, Lily and Emily.
Meghan and Louis have creeped up slightly in popularity, likely inspired be the new royals Prince Louis and the Duchess of Sussex.
However, experts predict that they will rise by the end of 2018.
According to the research from Baby Centre, names with unique spellings are growing in popularity, such as Liyam, Roze and Maizie.

The most popular baby names in 2017 were very similar.
Olivia and Oliver were the top girl and boy name, respectively.
There were six new entries into the top 100 most popular boys’ names in 2016 for England and Wales: Albie, Arlo, Ezra, Finn, Jasper and Jesse.
These replaced Callum, Connor, Jamie, Kian, Seth and Sonny, which were in the top 100 in 2015.
Jessica and Ella also appeared in the top 10 for girls in 2017.
