She recently became a duchess, but Meghan has been thrown in at the deep end.
The Duchess of Sussex has already embarked on a solo trip with the Queen, 92.
Now she has taken on her first royal race day, and she was tasked with handing out a trophy with her husband.
Meghan Markle Royal Ascot: Queen taught Duchess this technique expert claims
What does a body language expert have to say about Meghan’s transformation from LA actress to British duchess at Ascot?
Judi James told Express.co.uk: “There are three clear body language signals that the training she has had is paying off.”
How has Meghan perfected her royal transformation?
The royal handshake
Meghan may have picked up some tips from the Queen when it comes to her handshake, Judi claims.
Judi said: “Her trip with the Queen seems to have modified her handshaking techniques, with the increased distance plus the softer looking grasp being very much a signature ritual of the Queen.
“Meghan normally dives in close with a firmer grip but with her wrist bent downward like this she's clearly learnt how to survive the thousands of handshakes involved in royal life.”
The steering gestures
Judi said: “Meghan uses three subtle steering gestures to choreograph things for Frankie and the other guests but without looking dominant.
“She motions to the trophy, then to the other guests to join them, holding one arm out to ensure they all stand close for the photos.”
Meghan has perfected a technique that Kate has already mastered.
“This is the kind of quiet behind the scenes planning that Kate excels in.”
The gracious hand clasp
“Meghan uses this waist high clasp with fingers pointing sideways and down in a very elegant and gracious-looking default pose,” Judi said.
“It looks utterly regal and is a signature look of Camilla’s.”
Despite the royal transformation some of Meghan’s unique personality still shines through.
Judi said: “There's still a lot of Markle body language here though especially during a small moment of dithering from Meghan.
“Looking around she returns to Harry as her source of happiness and support, wrapping an arm around his waist in her normal spontaneous and tactile way and throwing him her usual look of love.”
