‘You’ll be barking mad if you don’t vote’: Hilarious tweets about #DogsAtPollingStations
IT SEEMS every man and his dog wants to have their say in this year’s mayoral election.
Twitter has gone into overdrive with hilarious pictures of #DogsAtPollingStations
Polling booths have been buzzing today as people pile in to cast their vote.
The young, the old and even the four-legged have been spotted lining up at polling stations around the country.
Last year’s polling booths were privy to so many pups Twitter felt the need to celebrate with the #DogsAtPollingStations
Proving that dog is still man’s best friend - and perhaps also trusted confidant - the canines are out in full swing again today.

Furry friends from all walks of life have been spotted at polling stations throughout the UK.
Perhaps not wanting to miss out on the sunshine, pups have padded their way in to accompany their owners while they post their ballot.
And they have certainly been brighting fellow voters’ days.
Cleary happy to see the trend again, one user said: “Yes #dogsatpollingstations is a thing again”

Earlier today, the over-riding message about polling day was one of chaos, as thousands are turned away and names left off the polling list.
The biggest errors are happening in Barnet, north London, with whole street’s worth of people reported to be missing off the list of those wishing to vote.
Young and old alike are casting their votes across the UK capital to decide who they would like to see become Mayor of London.
However, some have managed to crack a few jokes in among the serious messages encouraging people to vote and debates on who to vote for as these tweets show.
