New research has found a direct link between bedtime and calorie intake.
The study found that the later you go to bed, the more calories you consume.
Night owls consume on average 220 more calories than people who go to bed before 11pm.
The study of 1,300 men and women aged 16-65 years old was conducted by OnePulse.
Unsurprisingly, there was: only 13% of those that went to bed between 10pm and 11pm told us they had a nighttime snack every day, compared to 28% of those who went to bed between midnight and 1am.
She said the worst way to sleep was on your front.
