Wealthy family seeks 'fun' companion to travel to London, Paris and Cannes

A wealthy family is on the hunt for a "fun and engaging" person to accompany them on their travels this summer. The successful applicant will jet off to London, Paris and Cannes for a period of two to three weeks.

The temporary travel nanny/companion will earn £300-£350 per 24 hours while providing companionship for a nine-year-old girl. The job description states: "You will be responsible for accompanying the girl on activities and outings with her friends, managing her schedule, running errands, booking appointments and all nursery duties, including organising her belongings, and keeping things tidy." An 18-year-old sister is also part of the household, with some duties extending to booking appointments and managing schedules.

The family already has existing staff and a nanny to care for the younger children. Their household team includes housekeepers, a driver and chefs.

The listing on Signature Staff adds: "Part of your role will be liaising with other members of staff to ensure that everything runs smoothly."

The family are seeking somebody who is "fun, engaging and easy-going." While travelling, the nanny/companion will share accommodation with the nine-year-old.

No driving will be required, meaning a driver's licence is not necessary. The position is due to commence on July 9.

Candidates will need to submit an up-to-date CV and references. Signature Staff added: "Please note, only successful applicants will be contacted."

The Signature Staff Private Household Team have themselves worked within private households or corporations. The firm caters to private household needs by pairing clients with "best-in-class PAs, Family Office Managers, Housekeepers, Domestic Couples, House Managers, Chefs, Nannies, Maternity Nurses."

It stated: "The Signature Staff vetting process is extremely thorough; with a dedicated admin team personally verifying references and undertaking an in-depth interviewing and onboarding process."

The procedure begins with an initial introduction following the submission of applications and CVs, after which candidates would attend a face-to-face interview with a consultant, ahead of further interviews and job trials.
