One viewer couldn't get on board with his advice, saying: "I bathe my dog every day and his coat is actually better than it was when I was washing him every month. Not all dogs need the same treatment."

Another person agreed, saying: "I bathe my Yorkie weekly he gets dirty."

Some were of the other extreme, with one owner saying they were told to never wash their dog by their trainer, and their dog has never been washed but his coat looked "marvellous".
