'Our neighbour screamed at my five-year-old son but some think she had a point'
A woman has told how she was left 'shaking' and 'fuming' after her neighbour screamed at her five-year-old son for making noise while playing in the garden.
A mum has shared her outrage after a heated argument with her neighbour left her "shaking and fuming".
TikTok user @reneebarendregt detailed how her neighbour had "yelled" at her from "across the fence" because her five-year-old son was "playing ball" in his own back garden and making noise.
She explained she and her son had been kicking the ball into the goal, which had resulted in it "hitting the fence a few times". The woman next door then shouted at her children, demanding "You kids stop hitting that fence", to which Renee retorted: "Excuse me! Do not talk to my kids like that."
The neighbour alleged her animals were frightened due to the banging noises, prompting Renee to suggest she bring them inside.
She claimed she was simply playing with her son and the ball was occasionally "accidentally" hitting the fence, which she also owns.

"And then she goes, 'How about you teach your children some respect'," Renee recounted. She insisted her child wasn't being "malicious" by accidentally hitting the fence.
The woman mockingly referred to Renee as "lovely" and threatened to "start recording" her actions. Unfazed, Renee retorted with "go ahead", confident that the police have "bigger fish to fry".
And in a final act of rebellion, she admitted to deliberately kicking the ball against the fence, taunting her neighbour with: "And lastly, here's one f**king more."
In the comments section, opinions were divided. Some sided with the neighbour, suggesting the mum should take her child to the park instead, with one comment stating: "I'm with your neighbour on this one, take your kids to the park."

Another person recommended moving the goal to avoid disturbance, saying: "If it's disturbing her, move the goal. We all have to compromise and coexist. It's not worth the long-term bad vibes plus it probably does upset her pets."
