Escape rooms test one’s ability to discover clues, solve puzzles and accomplish tasks in one or more rooms in order to escape the room you are in. Virtual pub quizzes have seen a surge in popularity since people were put on lockdown. But how does a virtual escape room actually work?
For those tired of the same zoom pub quizzes each week, a virtual escape room or scavenger hunt can provide a welcome change.
Escape rooms are massively popular with people who enjoy a challenge, but all of the physical rooms across the UK are closed for now.
But in the past few weeks escape room fans have been excited to find these social activities has become available online.

How do escape rooms online work?
Digital escape rooms were in a similar way to the physical rooms.
They can either be done by an individual or as a group, competing against your friends.
There are different online games available online depending on the theme and cost you are looking for.
All you need to take part is a computer or text message screen.
Once you are ready you will click to begin the room and begin answering the questions as quickly as you can.
Hogwarts Digital Escape Room
Lockdown boredom can easily be put off for fans of Harry Potter as they try their hand at this Harry Potter-themed escape room.
The project is made by Peters Township Public Library in Pennslyvania and it crosses Harry Potter trivia with problem-solving skills.
