B&Q Click & Collect opening hours: What time is B&Q open? Are stores open?
B&Q is the store many of us think of when shopping for DIY essentials, but what are B&Q Click & Collect opening hours? What time is B&Q open?
DIY tip: Expert explains how to lay tiles in your home
DIY stores were classed as essential retailers, meaning they can remain open during the UK's lockdown. With the bank holiday this weekend, some of us may be looking to spend the four day weekend undertaking home improvements
With a decent weather forecast for the weekend, it may be time to head out into the garden or do some DIY inside the house.
As the UK is on lockdown, normal Easter bank holiday activities like visiting family, taking part in Easter egg hunts and going out for dinner are cancelled.
However, there's plenty to do at home, and the four day weekend could be the perfect chance to finish off those odd jobs around the house.

What time is B&Q open? Are stores open?
B&Q stores themselves are closed, but customers can order items via click and collect services.
A statement says: "B&Q stores providing contact-free Click + Collect and Home Delivery services only.
"If you have placed a Click + Collect order please come to collect only when you receive a notification to say your order is ready. Stores remain closed.
"Following the Prime Minister’s statement on Monday 23 March, when we learnt that ‘home and hardware’ are classified as essential retail, we’ve been working hard to adapt our business to meet these obligations while keeping our colleagues safe and continuing to meet our customers’ needs.
"In order to do this in the safest possible way for our colleagues and customers, we have made some changes."
Below are how customers can access orders via the B&Q website (selling from DIY.com)
- Diy.com is our primary store, giving customers access to a range of home improvement needs
- The range will be limited for our Home Delivery service to ensure we do everything we can to limit unnecessary purchases and ensure our customers and colleagues are protected from needless contact
- We are enhancing our home delivery service so that we can handle the increased number of customer orders for home delivery and ensure we continue to meet customer needs
- Stores remain closed to customers
B&Q CEO Graham Bell said in a statement on the company's website: "We are continuing to review and make changes to the limited list of items we sell to ensure we are able to meet customers’ needs in these challenging times while keeping colleagues and customers safe.
"We urge you to follow all the Government’s social distancing guidelines and to shop responsibly for essential needs only.
"The safety of customers and colleagues remains our top priority."
So items can be ordered on the Diy.com website, and then collected during an allotted slot.
