What to do in the garden this week
STAND slightly tender plants in an unheated greenhouse during the day then shut them in at night. Alternatively, put them outside on fine days and bring them back indoors overnight.
• Move tomato plants to pots one size larger and tie the stems gently up to green split canes for support. Keep them on a sunny windowsill indoors and begin weak liquid feeding after a fortnight.
• Pot on begonia plants grown from corms that were started into growth earlier in spring.
