'Deceptively spacious' garden shed that's perfect for small spaces now nearly half price

Spring has finally rolled around, and if you’re anything like me, it sparks that sudden urge to get out into the garden and make sure everything in order before those long, balmy summer days arrive. But if your outdoor space is more of a compact corner, or even a balcony, than a sprawling lawn, finding room for storage can feel like a bit of a puzzle.
That’s where a slimline shed starts to make a lot of sense. This narrow wooden design from Christow has been created with patios, balconies and smaller gardens in mind, and at under £130, it’s an option that doesn’t feel like a huge investment either.
Usually, the shed retails for £249.99, but right now it's 48% off at £129.99.
Instead of the usual bulky garden shed that tends to take over, this one is neat and upright, making it ideal to tuck into a corner or line up against a fence, without using too much floor space. Made from fir wood, it comes in a choice of colours all at the same price: sage green, duck egg blue, or a natural finish if you’d rather customise it yourself with a lick of paint.
Standing at 178.5cm tall, with a roof width of 78cm and a base width of 65cm, it’s designed for use in tighter spaces. The depth comes in at just 46cm at the base, so it’s best suited for storing smaller essentials like hand tools, watering cans, seed trays and those easy-to-misplace garden bits and bobs, rather than anything too bulky like your lawn mower.

Inside, the layout is fairly practical. There are three small shelves for organising items, plus enough vertical space to stand a few things upright. There is a single door, and it’s fitted with a galvanised metal barrel-bolt lock that can be secured with a padlock (not included), helping keep everything in place. There’s also a sweet little shelf tucked into the roof hatch with its own door, perfect for stashing paint brushes, seeds, or even a bit of secret treasure.
The wood itself has been treated to help manage humidity and reduce wear over time, though the brand recommends adding a waterproof paint or preservative after about a year. It’s fairly standard for wooden outdoor storage, and a small bit of upkeep that can go a long way in protecting against damp, rot and insects.
Shoppers who’ve already picked one up say it does exactly what it promises—especially if you’re working with limited space. One shopper said: "Easy to assemble. Like a Tardis – deceptively spacious inside. A real asset to my garden."
Another added: "Easy to assemble, looks good and is decent quality. It doesn’t take up too much space in our small garden and provides good storage for a few garden tools." And someone else echoed the sentiment, saying: "Very sturdy and well-made unit."
That said, it’s not without its caveats. A few reviewers pointed out that its lightweight build might need a bit of extra consideration depending on where you place it. As one user said: "It’s lightweight, which we knew before purchase, and if erected in an exposed position, will likely need added support against wind." Another added: "Love the style and colour, but not as sturdy and fully weather proof as I'd like."
