With summer in full swing across the UK, Brits are eager to get their gardens looking splendid for the season of BBQs and outdoor festivities.

Scores of green-thumbed enthusiasts have been toiling away to ensure their lawns are lush for hosting gatherings under the sun. And one proud homeowner has taken to social media to showcase his incredible lawn transformation, leaving online onlookers in awe of the results.

Martin, the man behind the garden glow-up, shared his journey on a popular Facebook group dedicated to garden makeovers.

He posted a stark before-and-after comparison: a barren gravel patch followed by a vibrant stretch of green, all achieved within a month.

Martin credits his success to budget-friendly grass seeds purchased from Asda.

In his viral post, he penned: "The £4 Asda grass seed sown 23rd of June one month later."

The transformation garnered over 7,000 likes, with many expressing their admiration and curiosity about the product. One user gushed: "That's amazing! Could you post a photo of the box please? I shall be going to Asda to get some."

In response, Martin uploaded an image of the Asda Multi-Purpose Lawn Seed box.

Another curious gardener inquired: "How did you lay the seeds please? I've been trying to cover patches and it isn't growing at all."

To which Martin replied with his simple yet effective method: "Lay it over it and then rake it and keep it damp is all I've done watering twice per day."

One curious individual asked: "Can I please ask, how many boxes did you use, for this area in your photo? And was it needing a lot of watering when not raining? It's looking very healthy with you, well done!"

Martin responded: "I used 1 full box for the initial seed sowing I have another box for any little areas that required patching in. I had to water it about 4 times per day the week I did it as it was sunny all week. So kept drying out."

Despite the admiration from many, there were some sceptics. One person questioned: "So in a month u laid seeds n u cut it 3 times to it be like that? No way."

Martin retorted: "Yep, first cut was on day 22/23, every morning I get up it's grown."

Another doubter exclaimed: "Surely it's not done that in a month," to which Martin simply replied: "It has."
