If you're planning a BBQ, a garden birthday bash, or even an outdoor Euros screening with your mates, you might be thinking about serving up a feast. As we Brits keep our fingers crossed for some summer weather, Ninja has knocked a whopping £100 off one of its summer essentials.

The Ninja Woodfire Electric barbecue Grill and Smoker has been slashed by £100 in Ninja's latest sale, and it comes with a free stand and cover thrown in. These extra accessories will be added to shoppers' online baskets at no extra cost, even though they'd usually set you back an additional £169.99.

The standalone barbecue stand, which is adjustable so you can choose the perfect spot in your garden or on your terrace, normally costs £149.99, while the weather-proof cover is priced at £19.99. So, while Ninja is knocking £100 off the price of the Woodfire, bringing it down to £249, customers will actually be saving a total of £269.99.

Unlike a traditional gas-powered barbecue or a coal-burning one, the Ninja Woodfire is much easier to use thanks to its simple plug-in electricity. This means users won't have to wrestle with any gas or messy charcoal, but it does mean you'll need a power outlet nearby.

Another advantage of this is how quickly it heats up. Gone are the days of having to light the barbecue an hour or more before you want to start cooking your steaks - the Woodfire will heat up much faster. As the name suggests, this Ninja 'summer essential' has an integrated smoker box for burning wood pellets, giving your food a smoky flavour that you just can't get from a regular kitchen grill.

This device boasts seven functions that allow you to grill, smoke, air fry, roast, bake and reheat. It combines multiple gadgets into one sleek device. Out of the 980 reviews on Ninja's website, 854 have given it a full five-star rating. One shopper even said they thought it was 'so good, they bought more than one'.

"So good we bought two", said one recent user who went on to explain the ease of using the electric grill, stating: "Wow love it so simple to use great results, that barbecue taste and smell without the hassle of lighting the charcoal etc disposing of ash."

Another person praised its 'super easy with the option of authentic barbecue taste' feature, raving about the fact you can add smoked woodfire chips whenever you like. They commented: "You have the option to add smoke when grilling or using any of the settings, which gives it an authentic barbecue taste. The cook options are similar to my ninja air fryer, and comparable in results.

"The only downside is that the pellets that create the smoke, leave a very sticky residue in the area you put the pellets. It takes some effort to remove this residue, which is a shame."

A third barbecue enthusiast revealed they have used it every day since they bought it: "We have had our Ninja for 2 weeks and have used it almost every day! It is so versatile and easy to use - we have used the smoke function for chicken, cooked homemade pizza, sausages, chips and garlic bread."

As Ninja introduces a price reduction and a massive freebie on its site, Amazon is also offering the same price. However, their deal does not include the additional free stand or cover - meaning you'd miss out on gifts worth £169.99. The Prime retailer does have other electric BBQs to choose from though, such as this £99 Andrew James model that bears a resemblance to the iconic Weber.

If you're in the market for the classic Weber barbecue (complete with coals and smoke), then Argos has launched an offer with a £40 discount, bringing the price down to £150.
