These recipes for a classic Whisky Sour and Old Fashioned cocktail have been developed by the people at Jim Beam Bourbon to really warm the cockles.
JIM BEAM WHISKY SOUR
Ingredients
50ml parts Jim Beam White
35ml lemon juice
½ teaspoon sugar
Orange peel
Preparation
Combine ingredients in a mixing glass and serve over ice in a rocks glass.
Garnish with orange peel.
JIM BEAM OLD FASHIONED
Ingredients
60ml Jim Beam White
2 dashes aromatic bitters
1 cherry stem pulled off
1-3 sugar cubes
1 orange Slice
Maraschino cherry
Club soda (optional)
Preparation
In an old-fashioned glass, place sugar cubes, bitters and fruit then muddle until sugar is dissolved.
Fill with cracked ice.
Pour in Jim Beam White and stir. Optional splash of club soda.
Garnish with an orange slice and cherry.
