October can only mean thing - Octoberfest. It is that time of the year again when beer drinks are at hand and fully immersing yourself in all things German.

Hard Rock Cafe London is jumping on the bandwagon by celebrating Octoberfest with a special menu and we got it try it ourselves.

So, get ready to raise your steins as this is on for a limited time only. From now until the 6th of October, guests can indulge in a special menu celebrating the best of German flavours and brews.

Whether you’re craving a giant pretzel or a hearty schnitzel sandwich, the iconic brand has got all the essentials to enjoy the annual celebration in style.

Hard Rock Cafe guests can enjoy German classics including a jumbo soft pretzel, which is priced at £12.95, and is a warm, salted savoury snack served with beer cheese and whole grain mustard sauce.

The pretzel was a great way to kickstart the meal and was paired with a delicious German beer.

Next, we got to try Bratwurst which was again priced at £12.95. The grilled bratwurst was on a toasted bun, topped with dijonnaise, beer-braised onions, pickled red cabbage, and chives. If that wasn't enough the bratwurst was served with seasoned fries.

If that doesn't take your fancy, why not try the schnitzel Sandwich? Priced slightly more at £14.95, the filling dish has crispy pork cutlets on a toasted bun, piled high with dijonnaise, lettuce, pickled red cabbage, and date shallot chutney. Yet again it is served with seasoned fries.

The schnitzel sandwich was the true highlight of the meal thanks to it being great comfort food, particularly in this grey and miserable weather.

Regarding drinks, guests can choose from cocktails or beers you can pair with your meal.

For cocktails, there's the whiskey apple mule, which costs £13.45 and is a refreshing blend of Bulleit Bourbon, fresh green apples, lime, and mint, topped with sparkling Fever-Tree Ginger Beer.

Meanwhile, no Octoberfest is complete without a specially selected German beer. Erdinger Beer, which costs £6.95, is a traditional Bavarian beer that is gently spicy, lively and harmonious with fruity notes.
