Hard avocados can make cooking a hassle, especially when you want to enjoy a quick bite of yummy avocado on toast. Familiar with this burden, a huge foodie shared what they like to do to soften up their avocados before consumption. He claims it will only take you 15 minutes, so you don’t have to wait days to make use of the tasty fruit.

Taking to his TikTok account where he often posts food reviews, recipes, menu hacks, and more, the “Fast Food Club” detailed his method for eager viewers.

In a video, he said: “I’m gonna ripen this avocado in 15 minutes. All you need is an avocado and some aluminum foil.

“You wanna take your avocado and you wanna wrap it airtight in the aluminum foil.”

He wrapped the avocado as stated.

“Top this in a preheated oven at 200 degrees [Fahrenheit].” After 15 minutes, you can take your avocado out of the oven.

“Make sure you let it cool down before you open it up. Wow, so much easier,” he said of the newly soft avocado as it easily glided on the knife.

He added salt, lime, and chili flakes on his avocado for seasoning. Taking a bite of the delicious avocado, he savoured the flavour.
