This mouth-watering dessert takes less than 10 minutes to prepare and is a simple way to use up any leftover chocolate.
Most people have more chocolate than they know what to do with at Easter, and you can quickly transform your leftover chocolate eggs into a delicious treat.
Eloise Head, a cookbook author and the co-founder of Fitwaffle Kitchen, has shared she has a “clever way” to use up leftover chocolate and that is to turn it into a chocolate bark dessert.
She said: “If you ever have any leftover chocolate from Easter or want to make something extra special, this chocolate bark is perfect!
“Just melt it down and get creative with whatever flavours, colours and decorations you please. Break it into pieces and serve at a party or even bag it up and give it away as gifts.”
Chocolate bark is “super easy” to make as it takes less than 10 minutes to prepare and only requires chocolate and anything you have on hand for decorating.

Instructions
To begin, line a square baking tin with baking paper.
Place the broken chocolate pieces into a heatproof bowl, then melt the chocolate by placing it in the microwave at 20-second intervals or heat over a pot of simmering water.
Pour the melted chocolate into the prepared tin and smooth out the top with the back of a spoon, making sure the chocolate does not touch the baking tin’s edges.
Decorate your chocolate however you like using whatever chocolate you have available. You can arrange mini eggs and sprinkles over the chocolate for an Easter-themed homemade treat.
Once decorated, leave the chocolate to fully set either on the countertop or in the fridge. It will take roughly two hours for the chocolate to harden.
When the chocolate is set, break it up into pieces and your easy yet delicious dessert is now ready to eat. It should be kept for up to two weeks if stored in an airtight container.
