Stir-fried green beans
This recipe involving green beans, also known as string beans, is easy to make and requires little effort on your part. You will love it. Serves 2.
INGREDIENTS
500g green beans
1 garlic clove
2 tablespoons bean curd
50ml cold stock
1/4 teaspoon sugar
12 tablespoons oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
METHOD
1 Cut or break the beans into 1.5in sections and parboil.
2 Crush garlic clove.
3 Blend bean curd with stock and sugar.
4 Heat oil in a flying pan, add salt then crushed garlic and brown lightly. Add beans and stir-fry to coat with oil.
5 Stir in bean curd mixture then cover and cook everything for 2 to 3 minutes over medium heat.
6 Serve with white rice.
