Aldi launch Christmas food range including giant pigs in blankets and gin mince pies
ALDI has recently shared its Christmas food range this year which includes gin mince pies and luxury hampers and giant pigs in blankets. What else can shoppers expect in this year's festive range?

Aldi has unveiled its Christmas food range with many tasty affordable starters, mains and puddings on offer. With Christmas being one of the most expensive occasions, shoppers can get their hands on some great bargains at discount supermarket Aldi. From flavoured mince pies to classic turkeys, the food store has every festive food you can think of as well as some new additions this year including Christmas food hampers.
Shoppers can expect giant pigs in blankets in Aldi’s Christmas range as well as loaded pigs in blankets.
Loaded mini Yorkshire puddings stuffed with sausage stuffing balls are also on the menu.
For puddings, Aldi is launching a delicious plum and pink gin pudding.
Made with plums, glacé cherries, vine fruits, damsons and almonds you can get your hands on this dessert from November 1 at your local Aldi store.

The discount supermarket also has traditional mains like British whole turkeys, Roly Poly turkeys and roast turkey crowns.
There’s also Christmas classics like the nation’s favourite traditional mince pies available in-store.
This year Aldi will be selling millionaire's mince pies, flavoured crumble mince pies and mini mince pies all being launched on different days from September to November.
Flavours include Aldi’s Specially Selected Blood Orange & Gin Mince Pies and the Specially Selected Salted Caramel Crumble Mince Pies costing £1.79 for a pack of six.

Aldi said: “Offering a tempting twist on a festive favourite, Aldi’s new mince pies have been crafted with rich, all-butter pastry, then filled with spiced orange mincemeat and gin for a beautifully zesty, alcohol-infused eat.”
These are available right now and they have already been spotted by Aldi shoppers.
Posting on the Aldi Shoppers Facebook page, one savvy shopper posted the blood orange mince pies and wrote: “Found these in Aldi this morning…Can’t wait to try.”
The post gained hundreds of likes and comments with Aldi fans delighted over the new flavour.
One fan wrote: “They look yummy! Will have to try these!”
Another said: “They look amazing, have to try and get them in December though otherwise I won’t stop eating them.”
The retailer has also brought back its sell-out hampers which proved to be extremely popular last year.
There are seven different themes to choose from this year with prices starting at just £19 and they are only available online.
The cheapest of the hampers is The Christmas Favourites Hamper which is available online at £19.41.
In total there are five goodies inside including a bottle of Specially Selected Argentinian Malvec, Iced Fruit Cake, Moser Roth Salted Caramel Truffles, a Chocolate Florentine Selection and Strawberry & Champagne Preserve.
The most expensive hamper comes in at £99 but this includes 25 treats including three bottles of wine.
Aldi is also catering for all dietary requirements this year with a vegan hamper costing £26.35.
In The Vegan Hamper, there is a range of delicious treats including Strawberry Gourmet Gummy Candies, Chocolate Chip Vegan Cookies, Earl Grey Tea Bags, Moser Roth Strawberry Creams, Moser Roth Organic Dark Chocolate, Free-From Christmas Pudding, Medjoul Dates, Salted Caramel Vegan Truffles and a bottle of Estevez Chilean Merlot.
The estimated dispatch date for the Christmas hampers is November 11 but they are available to pre-order on Aldi’s website now.
