Sainsbury's food recall: Urgent warning issued due to serious health fears - full list
SAINSBURY'S is recalling a number of food items due to a possible health and safety risk for customers. Do you have the affected products?
Sainsbury's has issued a warning as items sold in stores could cause a risk to customers. One product has been recalled as it was found to contain milk and meat not mentioned on the label. Another product has been withdrawn as a precaution due to a possible safety risk.
Fry’s Mushroom Country Style Pie
Fry's Family Foods is recalling the pie product which is sold in Sainsbury's stores.
The food item contains milk not listed, according to the latest update on the Food Standards Agency (FSA) website.
It said: "Fry’s Family Foods is recalling Fry’s Mushroom Country Style Pie because it contains milk which is not mentioned on the label.

"This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents."
The affected packs are 266 grams with the use by date of June 12, 2020.
The recall has been issued as a packaging error means some boxes actually contain chicken and ham pie.
This means the product is also not suitable for those who avoid eating meat.
The product is sold in other supermarkets but the error is only thought to affect Fry's Mushroom Country Style Pies from Sainsbury's stores.
The FSA website continued: "Fry’s Family Foods is recalling the above product from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall.
"The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers.
"These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product."
Anyone who has bought the item and has an allergy or intolerance to milk, or avoids eating meat, can return it to the store during an essential shopping trip.
Customers will be offered a refund and can also contact Fry’s Family Foods UK on 01280 701608 or enquiries@frysfamilyfoods.co.uk to arrange this.
Plant Pioneers Vegan Shroomballs
Earlier this week, Sainsbury's recalled the food product as some packs may contain small pieces of plastic.
This would cause a safety risk and customers have been urged not to eat the product.
The affected packs are 240 grams with all use by dates between June 3 and 6, 2020.
The food item can be returned for a refund in store or by contacting Sainsbury's.
No other Sainsbury's products are known to be affected.
Food recall warnings are not often issued but should be taken seriously by consumers.
When a fault is spotted, items can also be 'withdrawn', which means they are removed from shelves.
