LENNY HENRY, known for appearing in hotel adverts for Premier Inn and recently starring in Broadchurch, has shed an impressive amount of weight in recent years. The 58-year-old comedian lost three stone.

Appearing recently at the after party for the play The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, Lenny looked incredibly svelte in a khaki suede jacket, a navy t-shirt and black jeans.
The star’s familiarly cheerful face looked much slimmer, as he donned a moustache.
While the actor shocked with his slender frame at the event on May 2, Lenny has been gradually losing weight for the past few years.
In 2011 the star lost a whopping three stone after splitting with his wife Dawn French.

After 25 years together the pair split, making the official announcement in 2010.
The pair have a daugher Billie, born in 1991, who they adopted together.
Only a year after the split Lenny debuted his considerable weight loss.
He appeared in The Comedy Of Errors at London’s National Theatre in 2011, at the time aged 53, showing of his slimmer frame to the public.

At the time Lenny claimed that the weight loss was down to preparation for the play.
According to the Daily Mail the whole cast were put on a strict workout regimen of dance, yoga, Pilates and military exercises for four hours a day.
Around a similar time Dawn French also shocked with her drastic weight loss.
She once tipped the scales at 19 stone, but has lost a whopping seven and a half stone.

The star eventually confessed it was a cancer scare that motivated her. French had to lose weight to have a hysterectomy with keyhole surgery.
And three years later, in January 2014, Lenny also revealed health issues were behind his weight loss. He told The Daily Mirror that he was diagnosed with diabetes, and so took up yoga and changed his diet.
The funnyman had an extra level of motivation, as his mother lost her legs to diabetes. His mother Winifred’s legs were amputated before she died in 1988.
Speaking of his weight loss method he said: “I've lost between two-and-a-half and three stone, I was big.
“You've got to eat no sugar and drink hardly any alcohol... all the stuff you like. You can't Hobnob your way through the day.”
He also revealed that regular classes in Ashtanga yoga helped him to slim.
