New Bentley Continental Supersports - The world's fastest four-seat car
BENTLEY have announced the new Continental Supersports their fastest ever car.
Introducing the Bentley Super Sports model
The fastest-accelerating Bentley ever-made will go from 0-60mph in just 3.5 seconds and have a top speed of 209 mph.
Similarly, its sibling the Continental Supersports convertible, is the world's fastest and most powerful luxury four-seat car.
The convertible will do 0-60mph in 3.7 seconds and max out at 205mph.
The 2.7 tonne four-seater is powered by a 710 PS (700mph) W12 engine, that was redeveloped by Bentley specifically for the Supersports.
High performance turbos, engine hardware and unique torque vectoring help to harness the engine, to make it as agile as it is powerful.
The exterior is slightly beefed up from the Continental and has been given a spoiler, sculpted sills and a more defined front bumper, to give it the look of a performance car.
The Supersports has retained the Continental's all-wheel-drive system and fitted with a a dynamic brakes.

In addition to this the car has been lowered and suspension stiffened, which is apparently supposed to focus the driving dynamics to make them sharper.
Inside, its decked out with the kind of luxury features, you would expect on a premium sports car.
A unique colour split has been created, using three colours: the first tri-tone interior offered in this generation Continental GT.

A new diamond-quilted design is incorporated in the seats and door side panels for a unique signature in Alcantara, while chequered Supersports carbon-fibre fascia panels join the existing list of ten veneers and technical finishes available.
The interior is completed by new Supersports emblem stitching, and a bespoke Supersports steering wheel and unique gearlever, both featuring Alcantara accents.

On paper, the Continental Supersports is a remarkable car. For all this luxury and performance, it is likely to set you back around £200,000, although no official price has been confirmed, which gives it stiff competition.
