New Mercedes E-Class Hybrid E 300 de UK price, specs and release date revealed
UK PRICES and specs for the all-new Mercedes E-Class ‘E 300 de’ hybrid Saloon and Estate variants have been revealed.
Mercedes has released the UK price and specs for the all-new E 300 de, a hybrid variant of the E-Class.
Prices for the Saloon start at £47,000 while the Estate costs from £49,700.
Powering the car is a combination of a diesel engine and an electric battery.
The powertrain consists of a 2.0-litre diesel engine which produces 194 hp and 400 Nm of torque and a hybrid module with 122 hp of electric power and 440 Nm of torque.
As a result of the hybrid power system the car can allegedly achieve 166.2 mpg on the combined cycle and emits 41 g/km of CO2 (44 g/km for the Estate)
In addition to this, both variants can sprint from 0-62mph in six seconds (5.9 seconds of the Saloon).
The E 300 de has fully electric range of 34 miles for the the Saloon and 32 miles for the Estate variant on a single charge.
Charging up the 13.5 kWh from 10 to 100 per cent will take under two hours using a 7.4kWh charger claims Mercedes.
As standard, every car comes with a number of comfort and assistance features including a Seat comfort package, ambient lighting system, widescreen cockpit, four USB ports, touchpad with controller, illuminated door sills, spilt-folding rear seats.
It also comes with blind spot assist, a Parking package including Active Parking Assist with front and rear parking sensors and keyless entry.
Upgrading to the AMG Line trim adds AMG exterior body styling; 18-inch five-twin-spoke alloy wheels; black open-pore ash wood trim with Artico Dinamica leather upholstery; AMG steering wheel with touch control buttons; and privacy glass.
There is a number of additional packages that can be specified to add different features to the car.
These include a Premium Package, Night Package, Comfort Package as well as a number of driver assistance systems.
