Prince Edward
The Duke of Edinburgh was born at Buckingham Palace on March 10, 1964. Prince Edward has a keen interest in the arts and holds over 70 patronages - including carrying on his late father's key work with the Duke of Edinburgh Awards Scheme. He married Sophie Rhys-Jones at St George's Chapel on June 19, 1999 and the couple have two children: Lady Louise Windsor and James, Earl of Wessex. The couple became the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh in March 2023 in honour of Prince Edward's 59th birthday.
