Dundee United FC
Dundee United FC were formed in 1909, originally as Dundee Hibernian. The club changed to the present name in 1923. They won the Scottish top-flight in 1983 and finished as UEFA Cup runners-up in 1987. They have a long-standing rivalry with fellow Dundee side Dundee, who are situated on the same street. It is the most local football derby in the United Kingdom.
