Clement Beaune

Clement Beaune is a French politician that's currently the Secretary of State for European affairs. He was appointed by President Emmanuel Macron in July 2020, taking over from Amelie de Montchalin. Beaune advised Macron extensively during his presidential campaign. In November 2020, he decided to join the left-wing Territoires de Progres (TdP) political party, which was founded just months previous.
