Camilla's golden hello
CAMILLA is welcomed by a gold-clad young dancer as she and Charles arrive in Trinidad yesterday.
Then, in an ivory dress, she sheltered from the scorching sun under a tiny parasol as Charles inspected a
line-up of sailors.
The royal couple arrived at Port of Spain on the luxury yacht Leander, which they are using to cruise around the West Indies.
They will also visit nearby Tobago, plus St Lucia, Jamaica and Montserrat.
In Port of Spain, Charles and Camilla also sat in a marquee to be entertained by calypso singer Denyse Plummer.
She sang her nation-building song Nah Leavin and told them: “Welcome to Trinidad, the land of steel band, calypso, carnival – a land where you find happy people of every creed and race.”
