Brits can snap up competitive Cash ISA deals right now, with some paying up to 4.67%. Cash ISAs remain a popular way for savers to earn interest without being taxed.

Many will be in a rush to get the best deal as there is less than a year left to use the £20,000 annual allowance. After that, the tax-free Cash ISA allowance for those under the age of 65 will drop to £12,000. Martin Lewis' Money Saving Expert compared the top ISAs available right now. In a new blog post on the consumer champion's website, he breaks down the best easy access and fixed-rate Cash ISAs for the 2026/27 tax year before the allowance drops by a whopping £8,000.

The leading one-year fixed ISA is from Hodge Bank, with a rate of 4.67%. Interest is paid monthly or on maturity, and the minimum deposit is £1,000.

The account can be opened online, but you can't transfer in from another ISA. As is normally the case with fixed-rate ISAs, there is a penalty for withdrawing early.

Savers will lose 90 days of interest if they withdraw their funds before the end of the year. These fixed-rate accounts are designed for savers who are comfortable locking away their money for a set time.

Hodge Bank says it will not change the interest rate for its one-year fixed-rate ISA once you've opened it, so you will know exactly what earnings you will get at the end.

There are different kinds of fixed-rate ISAs designed for different lengths of time.

When it comes to one-year fixed-rate ISAs, the second-highest rate is from UBL UK at 4.66%. After that is Vida Savings, offering a rate of 4.65%. For two-year and three-year fixes, Secure Trust Bank tops the list at 4.73% and 4.67%, respectively.

MSE said: "If you want to fix for longer, Hodge Bank pays top five years at 4.71%."

If you would like instant access to your cash, there are better options available. The top easy-access Cash ISA on the market at the moment comes from Trading 212 and offers an attractive rate of 4.76%.
