Mum saves £400 on Tesco and Sainsbury's shopping through cashback app

A mum has saved £400 on her shopping with a savings app you can use at all major UK supemarkets. She uses the app when buying her groceries at big name stores such as Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Morrisons.

Queenie Ma, 50, lives with her husband and two children in Birmingham. She has been using the cashback app tuck. for around 18 months. Through the scheme, you get cashback instantly at more than 200 big name retailers, including all the UK's major supermarkets.

Ms Ma spends gets around £5 to £10 in cashback each week through buying items with tuck-enabled gift cards, which adds up to between £260 to £520 a year. The mum said she has earned around £400 since she started using the app.

She said: "I liked the idea of getting cashback straight to my wallet without having to wait, so tuck really appealed to me. Checking the app has become part of my regular shopping routine; I always check if there’s cashback first before I buy anything. I also really like the way it lets me know about deals and offers from brands it knows I like - and regularly use."

The mum-of-two uses the app when she is out shopping at many big name retailers, including Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Tesco, M&S, Morrisons, Starbucks, IKEA and Nike. She typically spends around £200 per week through tuck-enabled gift cards.

Ms Ma uses her rewards to build up a balance which she converts into gift cards to use for more shopping. She said: "It feels like I've got more budget to spend when I turn the cashback into gift cards."
