Tesco Clubcard holders could get their hands on £50 to spend at their local supermarket if they act quickly. Tesco is bringing back its popular Clubcard Challenges for January and February 2026, offering regular customers the chance to earn more rewards from their purchases over the next few weeks. The latest challenge kicks off today (January 12) and will run until February 22.

Within that timeframe, customers who wish to receive £50 in spending at Tesco must complete all their tasks and redeem the offer. The Tesco Clubcard Challenges set out certain spending goals for customers, which can be viewed when you log into the Tesco Grocery and Clubcard app. However, shoppers will not automatically be entered into the challenge.

If you log into the app, you will see a banner if you are one of the lucky customers who have been invited to take part. If you have been selected, you will be given specific goals and personalised tasks to complete.

If these targets are hit, you earn extra points for your spending. There are up to £50 worth of Clubcard points available for those taking part in the challenges.

There are around 5,000 points to be earned, which can be used to reduce the cost of your grocery bill. Meanwhile, points can also be doubled when swapped with reward partners.

Last year, it was reported that a staggering 23 million shoppers had Tesco Clubcard accounts. Many love the Clubcard Challenges when they roll around.

However, some are less impressed by the incentive. One Reddit user shared: "I got loads of veggie/alternative brands which I’ve never bought. So struggled to pick 10."

Sharing their experience of a previous Clubcard Challenge, one person said: "All the challenges this time are of products I don’t buy. It sucks because previously I was able to get £25-£30 worth of vouchers with these challenges, but this time I can’t finish even a single one."

Meanwhile, one Facebook user wrote: "Think this is my sixth round. None have been as good as the first two, though. First and second time I got the full 5,000 points, then it’s been stuff I don’t really buy. Last one I only got 690, but it’s still 690 more than I had."
