Nigel Farage, the leader of the Reform party, has announced his intention to save housholds £500 a year by slashing energy bills.

One of Reform's five key pledges is to scrap energy levies and Net Zero in an effort to "slash energy bills".

Reform also said it aims to "unlock Britain's vast oil and gas reserves to beat the cost of living crisis and unleash real economic growth."

The party said it will "fight hard" to get this plan into action if it's MPs are elected on July 4th as it is the only party "ready to stand up for common sense politics".

Reform also describes the Labour and Conservative parties as "two sides of the same coin" and concludes that the Conservative government has been a "failure".

Another of Reform UK's key pledges is to Freeze "non-essential" immigration to "boost wages, protect public services, end the housing crisis and cut crime."

The party also promises to detain and deport migrants arriving "in small boats" and "send them back to France.

The next key pledge is to reduce NHS waiting lists as the party argues that "healthcare needs reform to improve outcomes and enjoy zero NHS waiting lists".

Reform said it plans to cut back office waste "to spend more money on the frontlines" and give tax breaks to doctors and nurses in an effort to "tackle the staffing crisis".

Farage and the reform party also promised to "Lift the income tax starting threshold to £20k to save the lowest paid £1,500 per year".

The aim of this pledge is to take seven million of the "least well-off" out of Income Tax to make work pay and to get more people off benefits.

These core pledges are part of the party's "contract with you" and cover what Reform UK considers to be "the most important areas of policy for you and your family".
