Premium Bonds prize checker is updated by NS&I - are you among May 2021 winners?
PREMIUM BONDS holders will no doubt be keen to know whether they have scooped a prize of up to £1million in the May 2021 prize draw. NS&I has now updated the prize checker, meaning they can now check for themselves.

Some details about this month's Premium Bonds winners have been revealed by the Government-backed savings provider. This includes information about whereabouts the two jackpot winners are from.
This month, two men have secured the £1million prize payouts.
The first winner is from Surrey, and his Winning Bond is 436VB112388.
He only bought this Bond a matter of months ago, in February 2021.
This winner holds a total of £43,590 in Premium Bonds.

The second Bond number to be drawn was 340LX170519.
It belongs to a man from Wiltshire, who purchased it in September 2018.
In total, he has a holding of £34,000 in Premium Bonds.
Customers are able to see if they have won a prize via various ways.
This includes the prize checker on the NS&I website - nsandi.com.
There is also an official prize checker app, and results can be checked via Amazon Alexa-enabled devices.
The prize checkers are updated by the second working day of the month, which in May 2021, is today - Wednesday May 5.
To use the prize checker on the website, customers will need their Premium Bonds holder's number.
For the prize checker app, they will either need their NS&I number or holder's number to check.
This month, there was a total of 3,123,205 prizes available.
In total, they were worth a huge £89,792,075 - including two jackpot prizes of £1million.
The lowest prize value is £25, and this month, there was 3,057,467 of these prizes available.
The minimum investment a person can make in Premium Bonds is £25, while the maximum holding is £50,000 per person.
Currently the odds of winning a prize in the monthly draw stand at 34,500 to one per £1 Bond number.
Winners will no doubt be pleased to know that all Premium Bonds prizes are free of UK Income Tax.
They are also free of Capital Gains Tax.
