There's no need to be a cross trainer
SPORTS store Decathlon in east London went a lot more than the extra mile when Jackie Pelling called it for some help.
The facilities manager from East Grinstead, Sussex, had bought a second-hand Domyos fitness trainer for £37 on eBay but had stopped using it because of the loud grinding noise that it was making.
“Decathlon was the UK distributor so I called them about buying a new spare part,” says Jackie. “But even though I didn’t have a receipt, they said the bike was still under guarantee and they exchanged it for a new £90 model.
“That’s wonderful service and will certainly motivate me to stick to my resolution and get fit this year.”
