Spire receives a clean bill of health

The group, which runs 39 private hospitals and 13 clinics in the UK, said it now expected NHS revenue to be flat in the second half of the year rather than the singledigit growth guidance it had previously given.
It added it believes its overall sales and earnings full-year growth will range between 4 per cent and 6 per cent. Rob Roger, CEO of Spire Healthcare, said: "We have again delivered a strong first half to the year, demonstrating continued momentum across the business.
"We are confident that the medium-to-long term trends in this business remain very positive for Spire."
