Orders surge for Galliford
A BUOYANT housing market has laid the foundations for record profit at Galliford Try.

The housebuilding and construction firm posted a 2 per cent rise in annual volumes to 3,177 units and said sales had picked up since the general election.
The average Linden Homes sales price rose 7 per cent to £327,000.

Its construction business has increased its order book to £3.5billion from £1.4billion a year ago.
Annual pre-tax profit is forecast to come in at about £113million.
