Wine profits toasted at Conviviality
HIGH-STREET shoppers popping into Wine Rack stores for advice about their favourite tipples have boosted pro?ts at owner Conviviality Retail.
Chief executive Diana Hunter said having trained staff at its 22 Wine Rack outlets had “?lled a gap on the high street” for wine lovers.
Wine Rack sales rocketed 21.8 per cent at Christmas and 6.4 per cent at Easter helping pro?ts at Conviviality – which also owns Bargain Booze outlets – soar 31.5 per cent to £9.3million in the year to the end of April.
