Ryanair to add routes to Glasgow and Edinburgh
DEMAND from business travellers has prompted no-frills airline Ryanair to launch its first flights from Stansted to Glasgow International and Edinburgh airports.
The Scottish cities are among 12 new European routes from the Essex airport under an extended winter schedule starting in October.
It cited strong demand from business passengers and said it would continue to fly into Prestwick in Ayrshire. Among the other new destinations from Stansted are Athens, Prague and Bucharest.
