UK feeds China’s appetite for pork
SOARING demand for pork from China and a eurozone recovery helped boost the UK’s food and non-alcoholic drink exports by 2.5 per cent to £6.1billion in the first half of 2013.
Pork exports to China grew nearly 600 per cent as food and drinks sales to the country more than doubled to £102million.
