Coca-Cola HBC switches listing
DRINKS bottler Coca-Cola HBC is eyeing a place in the FTSE 100 Index as its shares began trading in London after switching its premium listing from Greece.
It was formerly Greece’s biggest quoted company with a £5billion market value.
Switching its main listing to London is designed to broaden its appeal to investors and escape a “Greek discount” on its valuation due to that country’s huge debts.
Chief executive Dimitris Lois said: “This is a milestone for our company. We expect this to benefit our shareholders.”
