Flu a tonic for sales at Reckitt Benckiser
NUROFEN and Strepsils maker Reckitt Benckiser said a rise in flu cases in the US during the winter had led to healthy sales.

It said first-quarter group revenues jumped 7 per cent to £2.5billion, including a 30 per cent increase at its health division to £597million.
Hygiene products, including Cillit Bang, climbed 6 per cent to just over £1billion, while Reckitt’s Dettol brand also did well in emerging markets.
Other big sellers also included its anti-pest range Mortein in Australia and India and Durex condoms sold well in China.
