There’s no snow woes for easyJet
BUDGET airline easyJet flew nearly 3.7million passengers last month, up 7.6 per cent on the previous December, as its flights out of Gatwick and Stansted escaped the worst of the snow disruption.
This contrasted with Heathrow-based British Airways, which took a £50million hit following a spate of flight cancellations, while Ryanair traffic was up 2 per cent after adverse weather affected Dublin.
Broker Royal Bank of Scotland said: “EasyJet’s solid performance would seem to reflect a limited impact from snowfalls.”
