EasyJet profits from expansion
EXPANDING its network across Europe is paying off for no-frills airline easyJet.
The company said yesterday the number of passengers it carried during November had risen 10.2 per cent to 3.35 million year-on-year as it carried more passengers from one place on the Continent to another. Its aircraft were also carrying more passengers.
They were 85.7 per cent full, up 0.9 per cent on November 2009.
The shares rose 7p to 434½p.
