Colin Blunstone: The Ghost Of You And Me (Ennismore Records)
Half of Ghost Of You And Me is ploddingly generic. It was conceived in the mid-Nineties but sounds like an Eighties MOR rock cast-off. The ex-Zombies’ singer’s voice has lost none of its frail English purity, however, an eerie echo of the late Nick Drake, and best heard on the lovely string-swathed compositions that make up the bottom half.
Our verdict: 3/5
