Last year was a tough one for Status Quo, who saw their guitarist Parfitt leave due to health problems and then pass away on Christmas Eve.
Now the band are releasing their live set from last December at London’s O2 Arena, one that came after their late bandmate had decided to step down.
Taking place on December 16, 2016, The Last Night of the Electrics is being released as a new double CD album as well as a concert movie on DVD and Blu-ray.
According to Ultimate Classic Rock, singer Francis Rossi said: “This release captures Quo on incredible form, at a concert that will live long in my memory.

He continued: “It was a difficult time, but we knew what we needed to do and we delivered.
“This was by no means business as usual, nor should it have been, but the energy of the music, the band and the crowd coming together was palpable.”
Last month Rossi’s illness forced Status Quo to postpone a concert following their Glastonbury set.
