Grenfell Tower fire: Simon Cowell charity single adds MORE star names to line-up
SIMON COWELL’S charity single for the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire appears to have added even more stars to its line-up.
The Grenfell Tower fire single adds Rita Ora and Paloma Faith
On top of the influx that was revealed yesterday, it now seems that Rita Ora, Leona Lewis and Paloma Faith are all on the record too.
Gregory Porter and James Blunt have also been seen arriving at a London recording studio to lay down their vocals.
The song, a cover of Bridge Over Troubled Water, is expected to be released tomorrow.
The apparent new additions join the likes of Liam Payne, Lily Allen, The Who, Craig David, James Arthur, Emeli Sande, Skepta and Stormzy.
Leona Lewis will feature
As will Rita Ora
Until that last note has been finished, we will not be off the phone
Cowell had insisted that he would continue to make calls to artists until the very last minute.
“Until that last note has been finished, we will not be off the phone.
“We started 24 hours ago and already we’re getting calls coming in, mainly from Brits.
“A lot of London artists, people like Skepta, Stormzy, Emeli Sande, The London Community Gospel Choir, all wanted to be involved.”

James Blunt is thought to be involved
The X Factor judge began working on the single after being horrified by the deadly West London inferno earlier this week, which has taken at least 58 lives - including those who are still missing and presumed dead.
The death toll is expected to exceed 100 as investigations continue.
The recording of Bridge Over Troubled Water has had its VAT waived by the government.
