VALENTINE’S DAY is upon us once again and the UK’s Top 10 favourite love songs have been revealed in a new poll, which includes George Michael, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Elton John.

Love it or hate it, Valentine’s Day 2017 has arrived and what better way to get in a romantic mood than putting on a classic cheesy love song.
HMV polled the public on Twitter after building a shortlist from suggestions made by their 2000 staff.
Apart from the main results, it turns out a Brit’s wedding day is the ultimate time they look for a special song to make a perfect statement of love.
Topping the poll was the UK’s very own Ed Sheeran with his 2014 hit, Thinking Out Loud.

In fact the singer-songwriter even surprised an Australian couple on their wedding day by performing the song back in 2015.
The news comes as Sheeran dominates the Official Singles Chart for a record five weeks at UK No 1 and 2 with his new singles Shape of You and Castle On The Hill.
Other romantic classics coming just behind him included Seal’s Kiss From A Rose, George Michael’s Careless Whisper and Taylor Swift’s Love Story.
