Isle of Wight festival line up 2017: Kaiser Chiefs, Texas, The Shires and MORE confirmed
ISLE OF WIGHT FESTIVAL bosses have unveiled a raft of acts set to perform at this year’s event.
Kaiser Chiefs, Texas and Shires have joined the Isle of Wight Festival
Kaiser Chiefs, Texas and The Shires are three of the many new names added to the bill, with the festival set to take place from June 8-11.
Also unveiled are Example + DJ Wire, Jonas Blue, Nothing But Thieves, The Sherlocks, Ward Thomas, The Undertones, The Alarm and Elle Exxe.
They all join David Guetta, Run DMC, Arcade Fire and Rod Stewart, who headline.
George Ezra, Bastille, Jack Savoretti and Rag’n’Bone Man are also already pencilled in.

Example will dust off his smash hits
Kaiser Chiefs are one of the century’s most popular indie-pop outfits, having scored anthemic chart hits with the likes of Ruby, Oh My God and I Predict A Riot.
Texas, meanwhile, marked their 25th anniversary last year and are responsible for tracks like Summer Son, Inner Smile, Halo and Getaway.
As for The Shires, they are easily one of the UK’s biggest breakout country acts of recent years.

Formed of Ben Earle and Crissie Rhodes, their two albums - Brave and My Universe - have both been undisputed successes.
Example - real name Elliot Gleave - has released five studio albums, including one number one; whilst Ward Thomas made a stellar breakthrough in 2016.
Isle of Wight Festival tickets are out now, with weekend places going for £195.
